Why we’re doing this

We know construction season in Michigan can test your patience.

If you’re stuck at this light, we figured we’d do something to brighten your day.

At Wentworth Real Estate, we believe in giving back to the community we serve. This construction giveaway is just one small way to say thank you - and make your wait a little more pleasant!

What’s Causing the Delays

Crews are currently working along the lake to build the wood boardwalk section

  • Work happens 7:00am–5:00pm

  • During work hours, traffic is reduced to one lane and controlled by flaggers or temporary lights

  • Outside of work hours, both lanes are open

Why it’s Worth It

When finished, this trail will:

  • Connect Fenton and Linden safely for walkers and cyclists

  • Add a scenic route along Silver Lake

  • Improve long-term traffic flow and accessibility in the area

In the meantime… since you’re already stopped, you might as well enter the giveaway! 😉

Starting on January 5th, Silver Lake Road between Jennings Road and Ripley Road will be one lane only again, alternating between directions of traffic, controlled by traffic light rather than flaggers. Please take caution while driving through this area during the winter months!
